Don’t Feed These Animals

Don’t Feed These Animals is an animated short film created by Portuguese Nebula Studios directed by Guilherme Afonso and Miguel Madaíl de Freitas full of irreverence, inspired by the strange and crazy Looney Tunes’ world.

The short film tells the story of a lab lobotomised bunny, with bipolar personality disorder, that finds a way of bringing a carrot to life, quickly noticing his plan going south. The work is of such high quality that has earned compliments from Brad Lewis, a famous producer and director of animation films, responsible for successes such as Ratatouille or Cars who claimed that “you’ve done an amazing work! It’s fantastic!”

Challenge

Develop an identity and creative concept that communicates the film’s essence — strangeness, surprise and excellence — to the national and international market.

Posters

Inspired in Saul Bass’ style and ideology “Interesting things happen when the creative impulse is cultivated with curiosity, freedom and intensity” it was created a special collection of 4 screen printed posters in Sirius Nero 290gr paper.

Graphic elements make up a visual universe that tells from the posters several narrative moments of the film, in a simple, unusual and surprising way, in a sort of graphic preview of what can be seen in the original animated short film.
