What began as a small gathering has become a cult event, turning this coastal town into a global hub for classic surf culture and free creative surfers. Built on collaboration and sharing, GB is all about coming together — in the waves, in music, film, photography, food, and wine.
For the 2025 edition, we were invited to create the visual identity of the event.
Inspired by the rich history and culture of surfing, we designed illustrations that mix and remix the event’s symbols and experiences — like a psychedelic wallpaper inside a ‘70s surfer’s house.
The color palette blends soft pastels with punchy acid tones, setting the vibe for a bold visual and typographic composition. We played with movement and fluid, organic shapes — layered with structured graphic blocks that stretch, compress, and shift in rhythm.
