The Portuguese Association for Green Roofs, a non-profit, advocates for mandatory use of vegetation in buildings. Green roofs offer benefits like rainwater collection, biodiversity protection, CO2 reduction, and temperature control.
The ANCV is known for its expertise in uniting public and private interests for the common good. But it needs more visibility to encourage institutions and the community to adopt green roofs over grey ones.
We created a new brand with a visually exciting and transformative narrative.
Color
We choose colors that represent temperature.
Type
Typography inspired by urban roofs promoting the conversion from gray-to-greenroofs.
Video
We created a video with a visual and verbal narrative with situations
that people could relate to and that demonstrated how heat impacts
our quality of life.
The production involved several days of filming in the studio, with a vast team that included set designers,
directors of photography and actors.
Outdoors
The digital billboards display the temperature in the hottest spots in Lisbon through a geo-location system and technology, with Greenroofs® being the official supplier of the felt temperature.
Sound Experience
In the brand sound experience, we used the 432 hertz frequency known to stimulate plant growth.
Special thanks to the National Association of Green Roofs (ANCV), who worked alongside us in creating this new brand, especially to Dr. Paulo Palha, President of the ANCV Board and EFB Board President (European Federation of Green Roofs and Walls Association).
