The series follows those bold enough to take on the biggest waves in the world – from surfers @lucaschumbo and @kai_lenny to the local safety teams and officials behind the Nazaré Big Wave Challenge.
We developed a visual language that captures the tension between control and chaos.
The key art distils this into two forces: colour and type. Electric yellow slices through the deep North Canyon blues like a warning flare, carrying the same urgency and energy as rescue vests and floodlights over a raging ocean.
The typography is heavy, compact and deliberately oversized, pushing against the frame to mirror the mass, energy and verticality of Nazaré’s walls of water, while clean geometry keeps the focus on pure impact.
