As a rule, medicine implies some rigidity in the organisation of graphic elements and content, but given the dimensions of collaboration and community that Tonic explores, we have humanised and simplified micro and macro elements of the human body through a rich multidimensional expression.
With a renewed image and a simpler user experience, together with the constant curation and updates of its scientific content and tools, Tonic App stands out and marks its difference as a medical device. Tonic inspires its medical community to collaborate in these difficult times brought about by the coronavirus pandemic.
After the World Health Organisation announced the pandemic, engagement at Tonic App increased up to 1600%, especially in countries more heavily hit such as Spain. Compared to last year, Tonic App’s user satisfaction, measured by the Net Promoter Score, increased 9 points to 50. This is a number that the team is really proud of, reflecting the willingness of our medical doctor user-base to recommend the application to their own colleagues of profession. Physicians value the utility — and already the new image — of Tonic App.
Tonic App, nominated by Forbes as one of the 60 women-led startups to watch, was founded in 2016 with the ambition to democratise medicine by bringing together knowledge, technology and human capital in a single platform. Its professional application for physicians, available for download at the App Store and Play Store, already has a medical community of more than 27 000 doctors.
