The name Calcário3 comes from the chemical formula of limestone, CaCO₃, a key characteristic that defines the terroir from which this wine originates.

Beyond this distinctive trait, Calcário3 is the fleur wine of Principal.

Fleur in winemaking refers to the finest selection of a winery’s production—often the most delicate, elegant, and pure expression of a terroir, carefully chosen from the best barrels or batches.

Graphically, the identity of Calcário3 aligns closely with that of Principal, retaining the coat of arms on the label. The typography and composition also evoke the essence of Principal wines, maintaining a sense of continuity and refinement.
